SC First Steps Program

SC First Steps Program supports families with young children by providing early learning opportunities and family-centered resources that help children grow, learn, and thrive. Through developmentally appropriate activities, caring guidance, and strong family partnerships, we focus on building school readiness skills—social-emotional development, early literacy, communication, and healthy routines. Families may receive support such as early childhood education services, parent coaching, developmental screenings, and connections to community resources. Our goal is to strengthen families, promote positive child development, and help every child enter kindergarten confident and prepared.
